Can my mum put me on her insurance for a week?

so my mums on holiday and she wants to put me on her insurance for a week unti she gets back from her holiday. just wanted to know if this can be done, or is it impossible. she with hastings direct. thanks

What kind of insurance are we talking about? Life insurance? Medical insurance? And why does she want to “put you on it” and only for a week?
Can you explain a little more clearly what she’s trying to accomplish?

There are ways to add a person to some types of insurance policies in specific situations, but you have to call your agent, get the policy changed, and pay for it before any change goes into effect. Your mum needs to talk to her insurance agent about this first.
Insurance can be purchased month to month. So you mom could add you for a month.
